  The food is very good. I don't think I've ever had a better kabob kobideh anywhere, for example. Prices are typical for high-quality Persian food. Portions are large. Service is polite. The servers aren't chatty, though. Basically it's a family restaurant patronized heavily by Persians who know authentic food when they taste it. This restaurant is ALWAYS busy when we are there.
  
  This restaurant may be Halal -- I haven't ever have checked.
  
  Negatives:  limited street parking. Cash-only. You have to pack your own leftovers.

  I picked up barg kebab from there. I picked it up around 20 minutes after I called it in. It should have been hot, but it was cold. Not only was it cold, it didn't taste fresh at all. So, upon calling and speaking to the manager and articulating to him about the temperature of the not-even-close-to-fresh food, this asshole tells me "Just put it in the microwave when you get home." Thanks buddy. I went back immediately with the food to the restaurant for a refund and subsequent to the owner trying to play mind games with me in an attempt to guilt trip me into not wanting a refund, he gave me a full refund, which is why I'm being nice in this post. I'll be damned if he didn't just recycle the food to an unsuspecting customer.
  
  Good times! Highly recommended if you like con-artist like treatment and bad food!!!!! Awesome!!!!!

  I hadn't been here in years, so my visit this past weekend confused the hell out of me.
  
  The food is good. Rice, meat, sauces, portions. All of that is great.
  
  But the service? I might as well have just cultivated the rice, raised the cattle, and cooked everything myself. Service was HORRIBLE.
  
  Our waiter gave the appearance of somebody who didn't want to be there or help us with our orders. When we asked how many people some dishes could feed -- a pretty tame question patrons typically ask at restaurants with variable portion sizes -- he misled us into ordering way too much food. Enough food for two or three times our own party size. We never saw him again after he took down our orders. For every need, we had to flag down random waiters who barely paid attention to our table.
  
  Our table was in the middle of the damn restaurant, though. How could you miss us?
  
  On top of that, this restaurant only accepts cash. That's fine if we're living in 1819. It's weird in 2019, when the other restaurants on the main road accept credit cards and there are very few ATMs available after regular banking hours.
  
  Save your money. Go cultivate your own crops and raise your own livestock.
  
  Or just go to any other Mediterranean place around.

  So I ordered the kofta Kebob and chicken Kebob with rice and vegetables with white sauce. I like Miraj. There a Persian Mediterranean restaurant with real authentic food. I would definitely check this place out again.

  The food here is amazing. Not many afghan places have authentic afghan food like this place does. Everything has flavor from the rice to the chicken to the lamb kabob. They charge a $3 extra fee if you want to substitute kabili palow instead of regular which is worth it. They also bring white sauce to your table which is amazing I love that.
  
  One con would be that they don't take credit card. They claim they have a side on the outside but who's really looking at a small sign. So many side you have cash when you go here !
